I believe I recorded this at Thanksgiving, the year I couldn't make it home and celebrated by laying out a slew of 'sporadic thoughts' if you will, and chowing on an apropos turkey sandwich from Subway Songletts with no real beginning or end, I had hoped that I could revisit them and continue writing later on, later on...
Not having anyone in the house on the holidays, this was also the first time in over year that I felt courageous enough to mash around on the drums. It's hard living in a house with an expert percussionist, I always feel like I am acting the equivalent of an ice pick to the ear drum when I bang around on their kits... Recorded 2008 at the Bruce St. house, Greensboro NC.
