A late entry to the two week challenge, and the last song I wrote and played before moving from the house to the old cabin. It is accepted because the 'recording studio' that was eating my living room never disassembled from the time of the challenge to the time I left. I had just been chatting with some really good and interesting folks and I got rill down and humbled by just how blessed with friendship and acquaintance I had become in the years since leaving my brothers up in Ohio. I really wanted to capture the moment I suppose. ALSO, I feel it should be mentioned that there are MANY more versus to this tune somewhere, like John Pryne many, but seeing as two verses effectively put me over the six minute mark, I figured I'd leave the half-an-hour drone song for a later date... So if you don't hear yourself mentioned, rest assured you've probably been written down haHA! Recorded at the Mt. Jeff house, West Jefferson NC.
