My first experience with some people's ability to manifest their thoughts. David Mitcheson was/still is a person who can do just this. One evening, our small group - including a cool fellow named Jeff and Taylor Burgess (Tab1 of Kooley High), who were thick as thieves with Davey since grade-school - got on the subject of how wonderful it would be to just acquire a warehouse space to use as a creative collective; what a dream, right? Next day, a giant warehouse space was basically handed to the three of them while they were skating at an indoor park which shared the building. We named it the Where?house, and it became the womb of more art and music and joy than I could ever reconstruct in my mind. One of those times that just HAS to be 'the best time of my life'. What a wonderful experience to show up and not know who would be utilizing the space at the time; creation lottery! This day, Tab happened to be my lucky number, and he provides the back beat on this sample. Recorded 2006 at the Where?house, Burlington NC.
